"The treatment I received was excellent"

About: Heartlands Hospital / Oncology Solihull Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

I had bowel cancer surgery at Solihull in April 2021 which was a success but unfortunately 14 lymph nodes were removed and 1 came back as cancerous. My consultant Mr Karandicar suggested I had a course of chemotherapy. I have just finished the course which has lasted 3 months at the oncology unit. The treatment I received was excellent the care and attention I received was the same. The staff in the unit work endlessly to look after you with total professionalism. They are on the go all the time taking very few breaks. They are truly angels.
