"Rude admin staff and incompetent practice "

I rarely have cause to contact the surgery other than for my medication however needed to request that they update my Covid vaccination details as they have failed to record my vaccine from January some 8 months ago so I am unable to access my Covid passport. On Monday I was reassured that the practice manager was going to do this in time for my holiday at the end of the week and it could take up to 48 hours to register on the NHS app. However on Thursday this is still not completed, receptionist took 47 minutes to answer my call which was already a call back based on a so called new system where you retain your position in the queue as allegedly there is only 1 member of staff dealing with walk in's and all telephone calls. She was then very curt and not interested that the actions as stated by themselves on Monday had not been completed. I requested a call back from the practice manager but simply got a call back from another administrator who again failed to see the issue and blamed me for the fact they haven't registered by vaccine "because you didnt complete a form". When seeking clarity about what actions had been taken I was repeatedly told that it was in hand but its down to another agency who they have been unable to get hold of. Why cant people accept responsibility for their failures, apologise and act to rectify it rather than blaming everyone else. If this surgery is currently unable to cope with the limited numbers of people in our village how on earth is any extension of the practice going to work when we have 1600 new homes built and no additional GP practice. I have never met such rude administrators and I am simply appalled at their responses to this very simple request that should have been undertaken 8 months ago.
