"Brilliant staff"

About: Daisy Hill Hospital / Elective Overnight Stay Centre/Gynaecology Ward Daisy Hill Hospital / Emergency Department Northern Ireland Ambulance Service

(as a service user),

I came to Daisy Hill via ambulance following shortness of breath. The ambulance staff were all very good and took good care of me.

I was then brought to the Emergency Department where I spent a good deal of time owing to the lack of beds. However, all the staff I encountered whilst here were all very good.

Up on the female surgical ward it has also been good. The staff have all been brilliant and I have no complaints.

My stay so far has been a good one and I have no suggestions for improvement - it would be a hard job to find anything better.

Good morning februaryym47

Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience with our service. Breathing difficulties are an experience that can be extremely frightening and I am delighted our staff were able to help settle you.

It is uplifting to hear when you have been recognised for the job you do and in these days of Covid19 a boost to morale is always welcome. I would like to tell the clinicians involved that you have complimented them on their treatment and care of you however would need a few extra details. If you would be prepared to discuss, please contact me on amanda.sweetlove@nias.hscni.net.

I hope you are feeling a great deal better and are enjoying a speedy return to full, good health.

Take care and stay safe

Amanda
