I've had to use this surgery's services several times over the last couple years and have been underwhelmed each time. Typically, I've had to wait roughly a month for an initial phone call, only to be told that I have to wait another month to speak to somebody else. This 2 month wait could be avoided if we were directed to the most appropriate caregiver at the time of booking the appointment.

I waited over a month for a phone appt which I had this morning and, despite giving all necessary information to the receptionist, the lady who called me said she's currently unable to help and I therefore have to wait another 1.5 weeks for her to call back with more information, in addition to then having to wait for further appointments, such as blood tests. I explained to everybody who contacted me so far that I'm moving for university on the 17th and therefore needed treatment earlier (which is why I made the appt over a month ago), however it is now unlikely that I will be treated before I leave and will have to go through the whole process again elsewhere.

This is unfortunately not the first time that the waits for appointments have been ridiculous, including (but not limited to) a week-long wait for an emergency appt due to a concussion, 4-month wait to be seen about a ligament injury and well over a month-long wait for suspected endometriosis (another time when I had the first appt which was pointless as they told me they couldn't help and scheduled an appt with a doctor 5 weeks later).

I would not recommend this practice to anyone unless they were presenting with a very mild, non time pressured condition due to the complete lack of time management
