"Trauma, Craigavon Area Hospital"

About: Craigavon Area Hospital

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

All nurses are good but are under so much pressure and seem completely over worked; they seem drained.  Nursing assistants are great too.  All staff are friendly and keep me well informed.  The Doctors are nice especially Jonathon.  I feel comfortable asking him questions.  The ward is clean and my bed is changed regularly.

The food is hit and miss.  There is enough variety on the menu and good portion sizes but I ordered soup the other day and it arrived cold with a layer of skin over it.  Unfortunately the TV doesn’t work well and I think it may be due to the signal as it is crackly when turned on.  I wish this could be sorted as it is a long day without it.

Thank you for posting regarding your recent hospital experience.

I am very sorry to read that you received soup which was cold, this has been brought to the attention of the Catering Manager.

I am pleased to see you found the ward clean and comfortable and I will pass this positive feedback to the Domestic Services Team.

Many thanks

Andrew
