"Gold standard care"

(as a service user),

I visited Wishaw General with my daughter and granddaughter. My first contact was the lady on reception who was extremely friendly and helpful.

We were directed to Ward 19 and were met by the loveliest team of professionals I've met in a long time. Dr John was the most reassuring, calming presscence who acted like he had all the time in the world for us though of course we could see how busy everyone was. The nurses and junior doctors were all what you'd hope for when you're distressed. The baby was fine thankfully, I think us adults needed the care most and we certainly got it. So very grateful. Best wishes to all of you.

HI Glasgow 2222,

Thank you so much for taking the time to post. This must have been a very worrying time and I am glad your experience of our ward was a positive one. Our staff within the unit aim to be child and family centered and provide the best care possible. We aim to make everyone's experience as positive as we can. I will pass on your kind words to the staff and they will be very grateful for this.

I hope your grandaughter continues to make good progress.

We greatly value feedback so thank you once again for taking the time to do this.

Carrie
