Really bad experience called twice now and both times my time was completely wasted. I was waiting on a call for over 50 minutes, only to be told that there is no more telephone appointments available a complete disregard for the patients time. Not even bother to add recording when they exceed the available capacity so patient can hang out. When I told that I have an open injury and an infected wound, that needs antibiotic I have been advised by receptionist to go and seek advise at the pharmacy instead, again completely rubbish advice as the pharmacist wouldn’t give the antibiotics without the prescription. You can’t get hold of any medically trained staff and all is blamed on Covi-19, which is ridiculous given the surgery and GPs are not the front NHS staff, they do not see any Covid-19 patients, in fact the GPs have not been seeing any patients just having calls. A complete lack of organisation and blaming all their shortcomings on everything else. We are two years into the pandemic and your excuses by now are pretty tiresome.
