"Negative experiences with Park Crescent Surgery"

About: Park Crescent Health Centre

I’ve been a patient for many years and have had continuous issues at Park Crescent.

It is disheartening when the GP is rushing you along and belittling your issue and you have to put your foot down and push for a necessary referral / further diagnostics.

If that wasn’t an issue in itself, there is one receptionist who is incredibly rude over the phone- looking at google reviews, she has been this way for years.

We have to call up to 100 times at 8am to try to get through to book an appointment, to then be greeted with an argumentative tone and remarks makes the experience all the more worse.

I will say, all of the other receptionists are incredibly friendly and will do their best to help you and same goes for all of the pharmacists.

I can account for other people I know who are with the same surgery and have the exact same occurrences, aswell as lost results, misreading and therefore misinforming of test results by a gp, months of waiting around, the list continues.

We are sorry that you have not had a satisfactory experience in the surgery recently. The current demands on the service have resulted in all our teams working incredible hard to try and meet that demand, and we are sorry if we have been unable to despite our best efforts. As you have some specific issues that you would like to raise it would helpful to understand what these are so please feel free to contact the practice manager directly on BHCCG.Parkcrescenthc@nhs.net and we can look into these and certainly pick up within individual staff if necessary.
