(as a service user),

Wonderful care at RAH maternity when I went to have my baby delivered. Most importantly everyone was so friendly and supportive from start to finish. It was a very busy day in the department and must have been difficult for the staff, but every single person I met was kind and welcoming and nothing was too much for them. Right from the midwives on night duty when we arrived, all the theatre staff and the wonderful midwives on the post natal ward.

A special mention to the anaesthetic team, unfortunately I can't remember the consultants name, but him and his trainee were so supportive throughout my section, especially when things were a bit tricky, and talked me through everything and looked after me so well the whole way through!

Please also pass my thanks in to Dr Tibbo my consultant who delivered my baby and also saw me antenatally which was great continuity of care. Please ask her to pass on my thanks to all the the at RAH.

Thank you for taking the time to share your lovely feedback. I am delighted to hear of your positive experience while having your baby in the RAH. You have highlighted the importance of being kind and welcoming no matter how busy the maternity is and how by doing so the staff have made you feel at ease. The staff work really hard to provide the best care possible at all times and your feedback will mean a great deal to them. It is also great to hear of the continuity you received from Dr Tibbo. I will be sure to share your post with all of the staff here and in particular the anaesthetic team and Dr Tibbo.
