(as a parent/guardian),


My son was referred to the NHS Lanarkshire community dental team for extraction of a decayed tooth using sedation. He was referred to this service as his previous experience with our local dentist was so poor causing him to be very anxious about visiting the dentist.

The experience was poles apart from that at the local dental surgery and has turned around my child's view of the dentist.

Thanks so much for sharing your feedback on Care Opinion. I was delighted to read that you were pleased with the service your son received from the community dentist. Our staff are trained to deal with anxious patients (and their parents) and it is great to hear that the consultation and treatment went well and his decayed took has been removed. This I am sure was a great relief to you, as a parent. I will be more than happy to share your lovely comments with the team involved in your son's treatment.
