"My stay in hospital"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Gynaecology (Ward 13)

(as the patient),

I had a total hysterectomy and all the nurses surgeons anaesthetists and all staff done a great job   Starting with surgical day care nurse Tracey who put me at ease straight away   We had a laugh.   The anaesthetic staff and the surgeons Dr Allam and the other surgeon I really can’t thank them enough.   The staff on ward 13 especially the clinical support workers and the student   I’m sorry I can’t remember all the names     I was discharged the day after my surgery which I had never expected

I work within the Nhs myself and I feel so privileged to be associated with staff who are so caring and considerate

Thank you all so much

Dear Fionag

Thank you so much for taking the time to post such lovely comments on care opinion. I was delighted to read of your gratitude towards the staff who provided you with high quality care and attention during your recent admission to University Hospital Wishaw. Our staff recognise that patients can be anxious when attending hospital for treatment and I was pleased to hear that they were able to make you feel at ease and even shared a laugh or too! It will be my pleasure to share your lovely post with all the staff involved in your procedure and inpatient stay. May I also take this opportunity to wish you a very speedy recovery back to good health.

Kind regards.

Lesley
