I was recovering from a tumor found down my throat. It was treated by radio therapy. At Christies hospital. Who saved my life. My problem was aftercare. I needed a pain killer drug to help me through my ordeal, as no operations were available during covid-19. I just felt I was a number and not a person, and not listened too. After 3 weeks I was advised I needed morphine. But I am allergic to this drug, so ignored. Then in a lot of pain, for weeks. Rang 111 who sent an ambulance to access me and finished up in Stepping Hill hospital Stockport. I find it hard to believe that at this day and age, people are not listened too more.
I was reassessed at stepping hill and eventually sorted out with a new set of drugs. Over all care very good but needs tweeking.
