At the start of the pandemic, I was feeling pretty unwell and began to notice blood when I used the toilet. Not pleasant and a bit of a scare at anytime - never mind when the world was on lockdown. Luckily, the team at Links Medical Practice responded quickly to my E-Consult, and saw me in person very shortly afterwards. I was then referred for an urgent colonoscopy. Naturally, I was very nervous about the procedure, and how Covid19 may have made things different. I didn't need to be worried, as the team in endoscopy were really friendly and put me at ease straight away.
I just want to thank everyone at Links Medical Practice and Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for being so positive, supportive and patient, and allowing me to easily access the care I needed, when I needed it the most.
"Great care during the pandemic"
