If you can't phone in a hundred times and hold the line for an hour at 8am it doesn't matter what you have you aren't going to see a doctor...

I have a major mental health issue that I have asked for a referral and a job that means I work 8-5 each day so cannot call at 8am. As a result of this I have given up seeking diagnosis for possible lymphoma, TMJ, and a number of other mental health issues as there is literally no time to call in.

They could have taken on more staff by now but instead they spent thousands on a new lobby they won't even let you into...

Unfortunately demand is currently unprecedented there are certainly quieter times you can call the practice to discuss your needs and you can also contact us through the website:

We have recruited many more staff, 2 new GPs have started in August and 3 new reception team members have started over the last few months. We have a large clinical pharmacy team who can help with medication and long term condition questions and reviews. We have recruited 2 Mental Health Professionals who can also support you - they work each day we are open. The renovation of the waiting room was critical to patient safety and we are certainly seeing people who have booked appointments into the surgery. We are upgrading our telephone system next week to cope with the increased demand and apologise for any inconvenience caused, it is our intention to provide the best possible service within the limitations we have.
