I came in through A&E, nurses were busy non-stop but I didn’t have to wait long. My experience has been fine, staff are friendly and keep me updated. Doctor sees me daily, I’m comfortable asking questions but sometimes they can’t answer them. Nurses get me anything I need and are super helpful.  I am on a clean ward.  The food is grand. I’m vegetarian and there is enough on the menu for me which is good.  

One improvement would be to bring cups of tea around more often.  We don’t get any tea in the morning or with lunch or in afternoon unfortunately.

Thank you for taking time to complete feedback. I am very pleased to learn that your experience has been overall positive. I do know the catering staff have worked hard within recent months to revise and update menus within the hospital and I am delighted you have found this has met your needs as a vegetarian.

I am sorry that you feel your questions are not always answered on ward round by the medical team. I am aware that a nurse always accompanies a doctor on ward round and I will feed information back to both the nursing and medical staff regarding this issue.

I will link with domestic services regarding tea and coffee facilities as I understand how this would improve patient's experience.
