Visited my GP who referred me for a CT scan.  Received a phone call from the Early Cancer Diagnostic Centre NHS Fife on Monday to go through my medical history.  Received a phone call the next day to arrange my CT scan on Thursday - exactly a week after seeing my GP!

In view of the extremely long waiting times for treatment and others in probably greater need, I'm amazed how quickly this all happened.  Okay, I have still to wait on results and have no idea what happens next.  However, it shows the NHS working at its best.  And, of course, as with any organisation, it is the staff who make it possible.

Dear asteropert35

Thank you so much for taking the time to feedback your positive experience on Care Opinion regarding our early cancer diagnostic centre which is designed to support our patients to achieve earlier faster diagnosis and an improved patient experience to either confirm or exclude cancer.

Once our ECDC contact you with the result of your CT Scan we will ensure you are referred to the right service for further support, investigations and or treatment.

I will share your feedback with all our team who will be delighted with your feedback. I wish you all the best.

Best Wishes

Murdina
