I fell off my bicycle. I had concussion, and an open fracture to my elbow.  

The care I had was absolutely excellent.  Hairmyres A&E from the receptionist, porters, nurses, radiographers and Dr were all very professional friendly and caring.  It took a long time in there but they were extremely busy. 

I was transferred by ambulance to Wishaw hospital, ward 16. The staff here continued the high standards of care and nothing was too much trouble. I witnessed compassion and care given to an elderly patient who joined our ward. 

I underwent surgery to my elbow and was discharged the following day. 

I would like to thank all the staff involved - you were brilliant!
