Contacting the crisis team all they seem to want to do is argue with you and say things that make no sense at all. They repeat themselves way to much yet they can't see that they are doing so. A service that tells you one thing on the phone but puts other things on paper. Waiting for a callback really gets me first of all you're fifth in a queue then all of a sudden someone answers. I don't actually believe that they are as busy as they make out considering you go from being fifth to then answered. The nurse's who give that long awaited call back to you really do have such attitude towards you when all you are doing is requesting their so called help. As other people have said on here the staff need to be retrained and I agree with what others have said. They say they will do so much but they don't do nothing but get themselves in a temper towards you and they get so hostile it makes you wonder why you bother to contact them about your mental illness. If they don't enjoy the job then maybe they need a career change because it's not helpful to be met with them on the phone being like this towards you when you're trying to discuss your mental illness etc. The understanding towards people with mental illness from them seems to be zero in which they just don't get it do they. People with any mental illness are keeping them people in a job so the least they could do is help us it's not asking too much is it. They need to drop the attitude etc towards the patients and do the job they are paid to do and have better understanding when they are speaking with people who need help and not snarled at etc.
