"You were all wonderful"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Day Surgery

(as a service user),

My operation for Dupuytrens contracture was yesterday 19th August my consultant was Miss Jane a very nice lady also excellent at her job, her team John Ruth and Lindsey were really good explaining everything in detail.

I didn’t go to sleep I had a procedure called a block so my arm just went limp and was able to chat away during my operation. The anaesthetist Maria was also excellent at her job and a very travelled lady I am ex merchant navy and have visited many countries but she could certainly keep up with me.

As far as the ward they were all brilliant and ready to help when needed a student nurse was with me even during my operation Samantha (Sammy) asking a lot of sensible questions a very nice girl and definitely going to have a great career.

If I have missed anyone out I am sorry but you were all wonderful.

                  Thank you

Dear johntheseadog

Thank you for taking the time to post feedback about your time in the day surgery unit, it is reassuring to see that you were well looked after and kept informed. We aim to provide patient centred care and it seems we got it right for you. I will share you very kind comments with the team and in particular the names you have mentioned, you have made Sammy's day today. I wish you well in your recovery.

Kind Regards

Nola
