"Told that I need to be re-referred by a doctor"

This department seems to have thrown all their patients off their lists during Coronavirus and I have been told that I need to be re-referred by a doctor, why do I need to waste my time going to tell a doctor something they already know and referred me for in the first place, I have a chronic pain condition, note the word chronic, it can’t be cured therefore has to be managed and right now it’s not being managed because I haven’t seen anyone in over a year or had any pain treatment! this is not good enough, peoples pain and chronic illnesses did not disappear when Coronavirus started.

I’m beyond fed up, this is having a detrimental impact on my mental health and other heath conditions, the stress and misery, I have very little fight in me yet I have to fight for healthcare, why does it have to be this way? If I went to a vet with an animal in chronic pain, they would say it is inhumane to leave an animal that way, so why is it ok for you to leave humans that way for over a year? no one cares, it’s a very sad state of affairs.
