"My Dad"

About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Emergency Department Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Urology

(as a parent/guardian),

Dad who is 92 was admitted as an emergency with a possible hip fracture due to his cancer. He spent several hours in A and E, then transferred to Urology. He was treated   with care and respect throughout his stay. I was able to visit him. The pressure that the ward was under was immense, but they still had the time to speak to me about Dads health. I have had many dealings with this hospital over the years and I never have any concerns about the care my family have been given. Thank you for all your kindness and all your hard work.

Dear Thankful100,

Thank you for taking the time to share this positive feedback with us. My name is Kenza and I am part of the Patient and Family Experience Team.

I am so pleased to hear that the members of staff treated your Dad with care and respect. It is also great to hear that you have had no concerns over the years.

I'm so happy to know that even though the ward was under pressure that they still had the time to speak to you.

Thank you again for your lovely positive feedback.

Best wishes

Kenza
