"Absolutely amazing care from all midwives"

I would like to thank all staff in Craigavon hospital for their care whilst I was admitted. I was admitted onto 2 west on June 30th due to my baby having an unstable lie. The care I received was absolutely amazing from all midwives!

Special recognition towards student midwife Georgia who always made me feel at ease and took the time to sit and explain everything with me. She made me feel so comfortable about my stay and gave me quite a few laughs to brighten up the day.

I gave birth to my beautiful daughter on July 11th after 2 stressful weeks of being back and forward to the hospital. All midwives involved including those in the induction bay and delivery suite couldn’t have been better. This was my first time in the delivery suite as I was in MLU with my first daughter.

I was so impressed with my Midwife Clare. (Who is normally based in MLU but I thank my lucky stars she was taken down to delivery suite to look after me). As I had a stabilised induction there was risks involved and I possibly could have needed an emergency C-Section. All though I never once felt scared when she was in the room, she kept me calm and relaxed throughout my whole labour. Clare was professional, caring, compassionate and respectively one of the best midwives I have ever met! She is an absolute credit to the maternity services, I am eternally grateful for the safe and healthy delivery of my daughter!
