"Outstanding Professionalism"

From my first assessment at the Eye Clinic, in June 2018, I thought I was in great hands. The staff were incredibly supportive, helpful and professional. They communicated all the information I needed in a way that was easy to understand and absorb. I was then assessed further by the head of the unit who is an unbelievably gentle, professional expert. Again with his unbeatable "bedside manner" and excellent communication skills he clearly explained every aspect and step and then gave me the choice to go ahead or decline.

The head of the unit personally called me a few days before my operation to make sure I had no concerns and to see how I felt about going for the operation. This is unbelievable service and support and unbeatable by any standards.

Today, 16 August 2021, I had my cataract operation. Once again everyone was outstanding both as people and as professionals in their fields. These wonderful people clearly don't do their jobs for money as I don't believe any amount of money could buy this level of compassion, care and expertise. I have left feeling I had the best possible care available anywhere and I am extremely grateful to all those whom I have had the great pleasure to meet.
