"Overall, it was an excellent service"

I recently attended an appointment with gynaecologist with Dr Revicky for a post birth follow up following a difficult labour. This is routinely provided in Glasgow, I understand this is not the case in other areas. I was very pleased to receive the check and be referred on for physiotherapy to improve my recovery and reduce the risk of problems in the future. Dr Revicky was very professional throughout. 

I just wanted to let you know that I was struck by how friendly the staff were throughout the hospital. When we arrived we were given directions to the clinic (I'm not sure if this was the job of the person near the door of if he just noticed we were looking for the way). So many of the staff went out of their way to greet us. 

The nurse working alongside Dr Revicky was very quick to put me at ease, she explained she is about to qualify as a midwife and was enjoying the learning from working in that clinic. Dr Revicky also took the time to explain things to her, I believe to aid her learning. Overall, it was an excellent service and the staff throughout the hospital were a credit to the NHS.
