"My time in Ninewells Hospital, Dundee July 2021"

I have nothing but praise for every member of staff that I met while in Ninewells for 16 day, not a complaint that I can think of. 

From arriving at A+E and the lady on reception seeing how bad I was and getting me seen right away and to the doctors that dealt with me, I thank you very much.

To the male nurse in ward 1 ( with the little backpack ) thank you and your staff, you had to deal with me collapsing in the early hours and getting me to ICU.

Waking up in ICU not knowing where I was, again thank you to the Nurse and her team for putting me at ease. ( Layla thank you for the coke ) Everyone I saw in ICU were great to deal with.

Ward 3 where I spent most of my stay, just an amazing standard of care from Nursing assistants all the way to the doctors. Lesley you should be proud of your team, nothing was ever a chore for them, I was very humbled to be looked after by them.

I wish I could remember everyones name so dont think I will forget you, your smiling faces will be with me.

I have to mention someone I remember,

I cant recall a thing but was told  Lynn took charge when I collapsed in bed again  before being put back to ICU. Thank you to you and all involved.

Nursing Assistants, you were all amazing whether day shift or night shift, thank you.

All you nurses never stopped, you deserve all the praise I could ever give, I hope you all  realise how good you are. You are just AMAZING, thank you.

The lady in the green uniform ( i am so sorry cant remember your name ) who took on my parking ticket along with help from Kerry and Mike, you won the case on my behalf, thank you, just another case of you going that extra bit.

Thank you also to the Doctors whom came round every day, and the Red haired girl ( junior doctor ? ) with them, you always made things seem better with a joke and a smile , Thank you .

I would also like to sing the praises of the food, I thought it was excellent during my time, so thanks to your catering staff. ( Soup was like homemade every day )

Every morning when I wake up I cant help but think how lucky I am, thanks to a lot of quick thinking by some and the care and attention of you all. 

I am  getting better , managing to walk a wee bit more each day and thinking of going back to work in two weeks, thanks to you all.

    I am sure people have negative experencies in hospital but i can truthfully say my time had nothing negative.
