Excellent care, friendly staff

(as a service user),

My son has recently spent 3 days in ward 20 having an ng tube placed and staff then training myself to use this for us to go home. I just felt it was needed to say thank you to all the staff who looked after us, especially nurse Marie and the play leader in the ward as well. All the doctors, nurses, students, hca, cleaners, were lovely with my son and made what was quite a daunting time much easier. Thank you

Thanks so much for getting in touch with us - and for positive feedback. It's always great to hear directly from patients and their families about their experiences. It can be a really daunting experience and stressful for both parents and the children coming into a hospital environment, so I'm really glad it was made easier by all of the staff in the ward.
