"Treated for a broken ankle"

About: St John's Hospital / Accident & Emergency

(as a service user),

My foot slipped on wet grass and went under me the wrong way and also winded myself. after some time I stood up my ankle looked swollen so I hobbled back to my house and rested. then took my dog to groomers and the went back and got by car of course. eventully phoned the doctors surgery and got the receptionist who said straight away to go to accident emergency. when I arrived at the hospital I was treated very well indeed X-ray confirmed broken ankle bone the staff at St. John’s hospital Livingston were first class from start to finish ended up 6 weeks in a moon boot made a complete recovery can’t thank all the staff at St. John’s enough that’s how all hospitals should be run well done everyone

Dear 'Seethe light',

Thank you for taking the time to provide this lovely feedback. I was really pleased to read that you had such a positive experience when you attended the Emergency Department at St John's and that you have now made a full recovery.

I will make sure that you kind words are passed on to the team as I know they will appreciate this.

Kind regards,

Aris
