Anything else?
Having worked in retail for many years i have a good experience of customer care.
I have to say the care and treatment i received was first class.
It was 8am when i arrived at the hospital, i made enquires to a porter who was most helpful in directing me.
I was greeted with a warm welcome at the unit and shown to a bed the ward staff checked my details, my operation was at about 11 30am.
A little latter the anaesthist came and checked my details.
Then finally the Consultant checked everything and marked the position to operate.
The procedures they followed showed there professional care, giving me complete confidence in the operation.
I woke up at about 2pm was checked again by ward staff and offered something to eat and drink.
The Consultant came and checked me out and finely discharged me at 4pm,i was given my discharge papers and GP note nothing was to much trouble for all of them.
On a lighter note,it felt it was like going into a shop being treated well, and coming out satisfied, to receive a phone call at home from the unit enquiring how i was getting on was very much appreciated and personal.
It is now the 17 february2013 all seems to be healing well thanks to the NHS and staff
