"Terrible practice"

About: Sherwood Medical Partnership

Very poor with repeat perscriptions, I have had to chase mine for 5 months running. Not good enough, Pharmacy blame medical centre and vice versa, but have seen evidence that request had been made by pharmacy.

Called for reassurance regading conflicting tablets issued by them and the city hospital, to be told curtly " its up to you if you take them or not" ! totally disgusting!

Receptionist didnt listen to me properly interrupting me continually with irrelevant "stock" statements and then accused me of not giving all the facts, they seem to try to pre empt what I are going to say.

Very rude nurse tutting and rolling her eyes when i said i didnt have a mobile phone and was told to stand in the reception in a very rude manner.

Nurse refused to give me a PSA test even though the hospital had requested a 3 monthly test.

I would give this prectice zero stars if i could.

There can be a number of reasons why medications can be delayed and without knowing the details it is not possible for us to investigate this further. As this is has been a repeated issue for you we would appreciate you contacting us to discuss this with our prescription lead to try and get to the cause and aim to avoid such issues in future.

We're sorry if you felt our staff were anything but courteous and polite. It would be useful for us to have further details of these encounters in order that we can discuss with the relevant staff members and take your concerns forward as a learning point for staff training. Please contact the surgery and ask to speak to a member of the senior team to assist the practice in investigating this further.
