About: University Hospital Monklands / Renal (Ward 1)

(as a service user),

Admitted for biopsy of kidney. Was very apprehensive despite having a nursing background. Staff were so attentive, caring and out my anxiety at ease very easily. They were very busy but still spent the time to explain and speak to me. Too many names to mention.huge thank you Colin , Elaine ( charge nurse), Libby,nicola, ellie , Margaret (csw) and of course the student nurses. I can’t remember their names but Dionne was the one looking after me pre op ,and her bedside manner and nursing skills exemplary. Brilliant run ward, extremely clean and possibly the nicest staff around.well
