"I am still in chronic pain"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Urology

(as the patient),

I was taken to A&E suffering from intense penile pain, I was admitted and next day had scan blood and urine tests but were clear. Since then pain has not ceased with pain also coming from up my backside, urology say nothing can be done as tests in January were clear, I am still in chronic pain 7 months later. I'm 60 years old. I understand there's a pandemic but its cruel to leave people in chronic pain, I feel they will pay no attention to this which is why I am considering taking it further. My treatment since January has been extremely poor. How can you leave people in such pain?

Dear Striken I am sorry to hear that you are still in pain and feel no-one is listening to you. As the operational manager of urology I would be happy to look into your case if you want to contact me on 01324 567425.
