(as a service user),

I recently had a phone call from City Hospital Belfast regarding a follow up appointment to discuss biopsy results. As the treatment had been in the Southern Trust I was naturally very concerned.  June, the receptionist was extremely helpful and did her best to try and get me more information.  She went to great lengths to reassure me and to arrange for my GP to call me back.  All this at 3pm on a Friday afternoon.  

Overall the standard of care in Gilford Health Centre is second to none.

My name is Máire and I'm part of the Patient and Client Experience team in the Belfast Trust.

I wanted to thank you for taking the time to acknowledge how supportive June was to you and to let us know about how it felt to talk to her on the phone. Our receptionists and admin teams are often the first point of contact for our patients and it's so heartening to hear that you were given the attention and care that we would all strive for.
