Can we say a huge thank you to 2 nurses at the Fiona Elcock Vaccination Centre. In mid May our son had his first vaccine appointment. The process was all very well organised however he was nervous and anxious about the vaccination. We had Kathryn who was incredibly calming , relaxing and professional with our son and put him at ease and it was over and done with before he had the chance to think about it - due to her taking his mind off the injection. On returning for his second one on 11 July we had Alison whose manner was very similar to Kathryns, and made our son feel at ease and again it was over and done with before he realised.

These two ladies are a credit to the entire vaccination programme and show that you are simply not just a number
