(as a relative),

My husband was in for an overnight stay. He has mixed dementia and was sent home in a taxi by himself with no thought as to whether anyone was at home or whether he had any keys. which he didn't. I was not consulted by anyone on the ward as had I been I would have come up to escort him home the same way I escorted him in for his op. what happened was totally unacceptable.
