About: Daisy Hill Hospital / Elective Overnight Stay Centre/Gynaecology Ward Daisy Hill Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a service user),

After experiencing stomach pains, my GP sent me to Daisy Hill Hospital where I was seen in the Emergency Department. It was a very long wait but the Emergency Department was absolutely packed - the busiest I have ever seen - so I understand the wait.   After being transferred to the female surgical ward, I have had nothing but good experiences. The staff are all absolutely brilliant and pleasant.   The ward itself is good - but at the end of the day it is a hospital. I haven't had any problems on my stay here so well done for that.
