My experience in Daisy Hill Hospital started in the ED following a 2 hour wait for an ambulance. The ambulance staff were all very helpful, however the feeling that they were very stretched clearly came across. 

 As expected, the Emergency Department was very busy & I had a long wait until being brought up to the ward.  
Once up on female surgical following my diagnosis of a blocked bowel, the staff have all been fantastic and very helpful.  The ward itself is also fine & I have had no issues or problems that haven't already been dealt with.
