"Merry Go Round"

I have pcos and my period cycles were not coming for months unless I took contraceptive pills it’s normal now but they last upto 10 weeks without meds. Right so i’m losing alot of blood i do not have the energy to get up with painful cramps and fainting. I requested a scan for fibroids around last december with some pills to stop heavy bleeding. Apparently the scan referral went through and I wasn’t informed. My periods started again around March and it was very painful and I had requested for a scan again the gp told me the previous referral went through and she was so rude when I kept asking for a sick note as evidence to show my uni that I am sick from menorrhagia yet she kept arguing and saying the covid sick note is only for workers. I then asked if she was able to provide any proof of evidence that I could use and yet she was so stubborn she kept going on about the covid sick note in the end she gave it to me after all the arguing for a simple note along with a scan referral. I waited at least 3 days and within those days I called the hospital to ask if the referral went through they told me to contact the gp. Guess what I called the gp the receptionist said the referral has been sent and I need to wait and check with hospital. I’ve been right and left for a simple scan that no one could manage. Again I am having my periods as of now and they are sooo painful to the point I want to rip my uterus out. I called the GP asked for a blood test and allergy test to see what is going on with me. At the end I asked for a scan again and he cut me off saying ‘there’s only so much he can do in an appointment and I need to call again for another appointment ’. I have been waiting since last December for an effing scan to check for fibroids since it runs in my family and I need to know as soon as possible so I or the gp can help sort me it out but nothing. I called the receptionist for another appointment but she proceeded to tell me I need to get the blood test done first and then discuss with the gp for a scan. I am sooo tired of this useless bloody surgery that can’t get professionally get anything done. I skipped the blood test because they going to be sending me in a bloody circle again. Mind you I am on my period that last me 8-10 weeks the amount of blood I’m losing and nobody’s bothered to help me out. I’m moving back to my home surgery. Utter nonsense. Save your time and look elsewhere.
