Never ever in my whole life have I experienced a practice as unprofessional, rude and incompetent as Birchington Medical Practice. I am always made to feel like a total inconvenience (despite barely ever contacting them). I don’t even bother to call about serious medical problems now as I know I don’t stand a chance in hell of even getting so much as a telephone consultation.

Thank you for providing us with this feedback. It is a shame that you felt you could not come to us directly on a more personal basis via the surgery email account (birchingtonmcpm@nhs.net).
We have now changed our appointment system to reflect more on the day demand is needed and we have now reverted back to the easy access model which is now proving to be extremely positive for patients and easier to get through on the telephone in the mornings with our new telephone system.
We are sorry to hear this has not been the case on this occasion but hope this will improve moving forward with the changes we are making.
