"Maternity care"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Maternity care

(as a service user),

I would like to thank the ultrasound department at Ayrshire Maternity Unit and the lovely sonographers that fitted me in at the end of the day on a Friday, After one of my measurements at my morning appointment with the midwife caused concern. Unfortunately I came into the unit with such anxiety that I didn’t memorise their names when they introduced themselves. I was seen almost immediately after arriving and I was reassured throughout the process. The measurements taken were clearly explained to me and my husband and we were also given two lovely pictures of the baby in the end. I felt very well cared for by kind and compassionate professionals and I am very grateful.
