"Hospital admission"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Breathing and lung problems (Respiratory Wards 7a, 7b, 7c & 7d) Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Critical Care

(as the patient),

I was recently admitted into the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for 2 weeks and spent time in MHDU, ICU and ward 7A. Everyone from the doctors, nurses, auxiliaries catering and domestic staff were amazing and helped to make the stay a little bit easier. Special thank you to staff nurse Sandra on 7a who was really lovely and looked after me for the majority of the stay and put up with my moaning. Horrible experience being in hospital but the staff are amazing and try to make it as easy as possible for you! Thank you all again! !

Dear Nicole_142009

Thank you for contacting us in regards to your recent experience of using MHDU, ICU and ward 7A of the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

It was nice to read of the excellent care provided to you by the doctors, nurses, auxiliaries, catering and domestic staff during your stay.

I will be delighted to pass on your thanks to all the staff involved especially Sandra in Ward 7A who I'm sure will be touched to hear your feedback.

It must have been a very worrying time being in hospital for two weeks so I'm sure the odd moan is allowed.

I hope your now recovering well back at home.

Please take care and stay safe

Kind regards

Kevin
