My nervousness about having a TAVI procedure began to recede as soon as I entered the hospital. The strong team spirit was immediately evident and confidence inspiring. The serious commitment, expertise and friendliness of everyone clinically, domestically and administratively made for a happy outcome.
Nothing was left to chance with every stage of the process and its implications explained.
