Whilst attending for our second scan our baby no longer had a heartbeat - This was awful news and was really difficult to deal with (only two weeks prior everything looked ok). The staff doing the scan couldn't have been kinder and although there was lots of tears the support was unreal - information was made available but not forced onto you. I was really thankful for them providing us with a little memory box which made out process so much easier and gave us opportunity to talk when we really thought we didn't have words left to say. I then opted to have an MVA procedure which in my head was going to be the most traumatic experience ever but thankfully the kindness of the nurses and consultant made this process really easy and I was very thankful for the thought that was given to my partner during this time who couldn't be with me due to covid. Obviously this is a terrible time but I just wanted to say thankyou for doing a fantastic job! A real credit to the NHS!
