To renew my sons medication the hospital has said today he needs a blood test. But, he can’t get an appointment for 16 days - the local doctors do not do blood tests. Now my son has no medication in 3 days time. To top it off previously - a letter arrived from the dermatology department South Wing hospital quoting I want to see you in 4 weeks followed by an appointment for 9 weeks later! The system for blood tests - staff who arrange these appointments -is shockingly outrageous - it clearly does not work and secretaries are making appointments that clearly do not line up with the doctors requests!
