I had a brain hemorrhage in February 2021 after a rough couple of years, so the hemorrhage was most unwelcome (! ) when it happened, I was ill equipped to deal with both the physical and mental side of it and it turned my world upside down once more.
After being discharged from The Royal Infirmary I felt very lost and like I didn't have a lot of answers, it was very hard to deal with on my own on top of the other worries I already had.
Enter Cameron Hospital. Since being put in touch with this team I've felt so much more at ease. I still have (extremely) rough days but I don't know how I'd have coped thus far if it wasn't for Clare (occupational therapist) especially. She has always helped me no matter if it's something she specialises in or not, she's helped me understand what happened to me a lot better and listened to me ramble and ugly cry over video more times than I can count now and I'm just so thankful that this was the hospital I was given for after care and that she was in it.
She's so knowledgeable and approachable and has made one of the hardest times in my life more bearable. I can't thank her enough.
