Uncaring nurses who would rather walk past someone in distress than help as they aren’t their specific patient.

Don’t listen to patient. I was left in agony after a HCA shut a cot side on an arm that had had orthopaedic surgery 5 days previous

Feel unsupported and vulnerable. I spent an hour crying before someone asked if I was okay

6 hour delay in prescription pain meds despite the doctors having access to my notes

Inadequate blood/cannula skills left me in agony and bruised

Was in A&E from 3.30 pm to gone 1am and despite me asking regularly for something to eat as I hadn’t eaten since 8 am other patients were brought tea/sandwiches

Got back from CT scan 45 minutes ago and have asked for help twice to recline the manual chair they just walk past me as if I don’t exist. I explained my various neck injuries and that I can’t manually push it back abs all I got was a shoulder shrug and the nurse said she would fetch someone. Still waiting. Ct wanted me to drink plenty of fluids to flush the contrast but nothing being brought

So I am stuck in a hard chair with fibromyalgia, problems breathing, spasms across my back, chest pain and a confirmed dvt in my groin and nobody cares
