"Diagnosis of breathlessness and further diagnosis"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Cancer Services North Devon District Hospital / Radiology (X-ray) North Devon District Hospital / Urology

(as the patient),

Felt breathless back in November 2020.

Went to GP who sent me to North Devon District Hospital, where a CT scan discovered a blood clot on a lung.  Spent 2 days in the hospital with excellent care.

Was given blood thinners, and on a blood test a high PSA level was discovered.

As Covid happened, 7 months later I was referred to NDDH again, where after scans a possible cancer on a lung was discovered and a possible prostate problem was discovered.

At present I am awaiting further developments in my diagnosis.

The services I have received at NDDH have been first class, with very efficient and competent doctors and nurses.

We are very lucky here in North Devon to have such  a wonderful hospital full of very caring staff, and I cannot speak highly enough of them all.

Thank you NHS.
