Also the staff of ward 1C who are fantastic especially during this period, while the nhs is dealing with covid. They're care of me through to pre assessment and to being on the ward before and after my surgery was great. Its a great ward and the staff make it that way and they are very busy, when you work in the nhs  as I do, you see how busy the staff are. just want to say big big thank you.

Dear SBoyl

Many thanks for taking the time to share your story on Care Opinion.

I can understand you being frightened and its good to hear that the staff helped you and hopefully helped put you at ease.

Staff work very hard to ensure high standards of care are delivered and I am pleased to hear that you found your pre and post operative care to be great.

Your post has been shared with Dr Cox, the theatre staff and the staff in Ward 1C who would like to thank you for your kind words.

Best wishes with your recovery.

Nicole
