"The hospital is as pleasant a place as it can be"

About: Craigavon Area Hospital / 4 South

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

Overall I am very happy and content on the 4 south ward. The staff have been great and are all very attentive. Communication has been very very good with all members of staff being very pleasant. As I am a shy person I am sometimes a little bit reluctant to ask questions but the doctors and nurses put me at ease and anything I do ask I get a detailed answer on.

I think the ward is a safe space with plenty of privacy in terms of the curtain. I feel the hospital is a very clean environment. It sometimes can get quite cold at night as windows must be kept open to reduce covid-19 spread but staff are very accommodating and will give extra blankets if needed. The food is fine. Overall the hospital is as pleasant a place as it can be and I know the staff are doing the best for all patients.

Thank you for your feed back, I am glad to hear that the care you are receiving is of a good standard and that you find that the communication from all members of staff is good.

It is a difficult time during Covid and I am glad that staff is accommodating and this will help towards your recovery whilst in hospital.
