"A&E discharge still in pain"

About: Wrexham Maelor Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

I suffered severe chest pain while driving, an ambulance was called and I was taken to wrexham maelor hospital, upon arrival I spent over 40 minutes in the ambulance waiting and was eventually treated with medication by a paramedic from another ambulance which was also waiting.

When a room become available I was taken in to find the room still occupied so spent another 40 minutes on the ambulance trolley in the corridor.

When I was eventually transferred into a room I was given an ecg and a blood test was taken.

After what felt like a couple of hours a young doctor visited me and done a basic examination and told me another blood test needed to be taken 3 hours after the first.

This was done and I was told it would take 2 hours for the results, although this happened slightly faster.

I was then visited by the doctor and told bloods were fine and I could go home despite still being in pain and I would be contacted by a chest pain nurse in a couple of days.

No other examinations or investigations were done, so still have no answers or treatment for the cause of pain.
