"Appointment letter"

About: NHS Tayside

(as the patient),

The Letter has an attachment about dealing with covid.

First off it tells me to access cctayside.co.uk the day before the appointment, for an 'e-pass'. I did so.

What came up was a comment from 9 months ago saying the commentator could not get anything from the site. NHS Tayside responded that it should now be working (of course too late for the appointment!). But neither could I get anything useful from it; even using the search facility: there's nothing accessible about covid at all, let alone e-passes.

I feel either you have stopped using this function, or it is still not working. If you have stopped using it please amend your appointment letter attachment. It must be wasting a lot of peoples' time and causing unnecessary confusion.

Dear AnnieD,

Please accept my apologies for the confusion this has caused and wasted time. I will link with relevant colleagues to review the letter and the website to ascertain if the e-pass is still relevant and amend the website and / or our letters accordingly. I appreciate you providing this feedback, and hope that we can put in place an improvement to avoid others having a similar experience.

Thank you

Sarah Lowry
